Finding Hope and Healing: My Journey with ADHD, ASD, and Faith

Hello, dear readers! I’m Mariana, a Christian mom on a mission to help my family and others find healing and hope. Today, I want to share a deeply personal story about my struggles with undiagnosed ADHD and raising children with ADHD, ADD, and ASD. My journey has been challenging, but it has also been filled with faith, resilience, and the unwavering belief that it’s never too late to start healing.

My Personal Struggles with Undiagnosed ADHD

For many years, I felt like I was constantly swimming against the tide. Simple tasks seemed overwhelming, and I often felt scattered and forgetful. It wasn’t until I was an adult  I was discovered the ADHD. This revelation was both a relief and a challenge. Understanding that my brain worked differently helped me make sense of my struggles, but it also meant I had to learn new ways to manage my life.

Raising Children with ADHD, ADD, and ASD

As a mother, I faced another layer of challenges. My children were diagnosed with ADHD, ADD, and ASD, each with their unique needs and strengths. Navigating their diagnoses was daunting, but it also became a journey of love and learning. I sought out resources, therapies, and strategies to support them, all while leaning on my faith for strength and guidance.

Faith as My Anchor

Throughout this journey, my Christian faith has been my anchor. I believe that God has a purpose for each of us, and that includes our unique brains and the challenges we face. My faith has given me the courage to seek help, the patience to support my children, and the hope that healing is always possible.

The Power of Healing and Growth

One of the most important lessons I’ve learned is that it’s never too late to start healing. Our brains are incredibly resilient and capable of growth at any age. Through a combination of faith, therapeutic practices, and a supportive community, my family and I have made significant strides. We’ve embraced art therapy, CBT, ACT, and journaling as tools to help us navigate our emotions and experiences.

A Mission to Help Others

My experiences have inspired me to help others on similar journeys. Through my books and digital downloads, I aim to provide resources that blend therapeutic practices with faith-based principles. My goal is to create a supportive environment where individuals and families can find the tools they need to heal and thrive.

If you’re struggling with ADHD, ADD, ASD, or any other challenges, know that you’re not alone. There is hope, and there are resources available to help you. It’s never too late to start healing and to embrace the unique journey that God has planned for you.

Thank you for reading my story. I hope it brings you comfort and inspiration on your own path to healing.Blessings, Mariana
